No Drugs

Peer pressure is an important factor when it comes to using alcohol and drugs. Drug addiction, smoking and alcoholism are the most common signs of a child with low self-esteem. Such children often turn to drugs and alcohol in order to cover up what they feel are their inadequacies. Children with low self-esteem often build a fantasy world in order to feel better about themselves. So if friends drink alcohol, or use drugs, it can be hard to say no. Peer pressure can be a force for good or bad. Self Esteem is a term used in sociology and psychology to reflect a person's overall emotional evaluation of his or her own worth. It is a judgment of oneself as well as an attitude toward self.
